BC Sportsman Show March 5,6,7th 2010

BC Sportsman Show March 5,6,7th 2010 In two weeks here guys. We have Dave Mercer coming out to this with a seminar on Saturday not sure if hes doing one on sunday yet.He may be talking on Bass topics not sure. If not it will be on Chrome species either way hes going to be very interesting to see what he has to say. Im looking forward to catching up with him again here this year. Jesse Martin will be at the berkley both also which is great to see and see what hes been so busy with also. Lots of great stuff this year there to go check out. Bring the family also great place to get them interested in what BC fishing has to offer. later :SunGlass:

I'm going probably on Friday. Dave Mercer seminars are scheduled for Sat/Sun only and the topics are listed as "Salmon Fishing" I'm sure he'll entertain a few questions about bass though.

I'll be there for sure. I look forward to talking to Mercer at the show and seeing his crome seminar too. I might have to tist his arm to talk about our bass fishing here in BC. It will be a great weekend also will have to fish after the show. later

Well guys try to make it out this weekend to this event. I know its hard with 16 degree weather out there and bass are now staging for pre spawn. Water is now in the low 50's, and its all about slow rolling spinnerbaits and using jigs right now. Good luck and enjoy the weekend in Tradex or on the water or even better both! Later

How did the Sportsman's show go?

It was good got to see Jesse at Pure fishing he showed me some sweat gear like the new Abu Garcia rods that are out and some nice reels and stuff. It was nice to catch up on what hes been up to. Checked out some new gear at other booths. Caught up with friends and stuff. Same show as last year but still good to see whats new and whats not. Dave Mercer was out nice to see his seminar and also talk to him and see whats going on with him and such. I have to say it did not feel right not having any of our BC boys out representing bass here in BC that needs to be in at the show every year I think to make the sport grow better and educate people about bass fishing as a whole. Other than that it was great to check it out for a few hours. Later
