You can't beat BPS for the price on their plastics, especially when they're on sale. I ordered about 40 different packages a couple of months ago and received about 600 pieces all for around $100.00 including delivery! I have gone through a lot of them already so I will be ordering more soon! It's like they know when I'm running out of something because they seem to always have what I need on sale!

Mill lake has been good in the evenings and the mornings with some huge blow ups on topwater. Only down side is very nice days alot of people walking around hard to cast from shore. If you have time to get a boat out even better. This lake right now is work fishing with several huge fish pulled out of it this year some big ones too just remember to catch and release. Later

I haven't had the best of luck at Mill Lake recently, but I haven't tried a lot in the mornings or evenings. I haven't gotten a good chance for some early morning fishing. I guess I really should get on that.
If you hop the fences you can get away from the people pretty well, but you still can't escape their kind queries or their comments which can potentially be pointless or stupid..gif)

You know your right about that everyone who walks by has something stupid to say while you are trying to fish its pure eritating. I just simiply ingnore them and they then look more stupid talking to them selfs. Or if I can when I have nore time I just get my boat out and dont even need to worry about everyone whos got something to say. Its the only fishing spot around like that. But ya the fish are great early morning and evenings. Goood Luck

I went out with Duncan yesterday at like 7:00 and stayed 'til 10:00. I think we hooked up and landed like 10 Bass altogether. We caught them all on 5" baby Bass coloured rapala jerkbaits and poppers. As the sun came off of the water the fish really started being active.
The smallest fish we caught was like 5" and the biggest was around 3lbs, and I will post that picture when I can; hopefully this afternoon..gif)

Yeah, I can't tell you how thankful I am any time I hook into a bigger fish like that since it doesn't happen very often at all. It's a real gift.

We went last night again and did pretty well. I used a popper and caught a sunfish and a decent Bass. My brother used a floating jerkbait and caught some tiny Bass and Sunfish, as well as a couple decent bass.
At one point my bro set the hook, and his ML spinning rod bent in half and his drag zinged, so I looked at him and said, "Aww..". But then what he and I thought was a snag started moving after a few seconds of him tugging. He fought it for maybe 5 seconds and it jumped and came unbuttoned.
It was so dark that we couldn't make it out when it jumped, but I'm sure it was BIG! It's just too bad it got off.
Oh well, that's what happens sometimes..gif)

Just got back from Mill Lake and did pretty well. It was overcast so I threw a crankbait and a popper again.
I started off with a perchy coloured popper and got a few hits and caught a sunfish. The Bass didn't want to completely eat it so I switched to a crankbait(Chart/blue back) and caught a couple and lost something that was either a HUGE Trout or HUGE Bass. I had it on and fought it for maybe a minute; it pulled into some satanic/demonic persons tangled line and I lost it. It gave me a few runs that made me fear for my line.
I didn't really see the fish except for its white belly... so I dunno what it was; I have caught Trout on crankbaits before.. so you never know.
So I proceeded to put on a popper in the same colour as that crankbait and caught a couple Bass that were on the uh small side.
I'll be out this evening again and will probably do the same thing.

Back again from Mill Lake. Was there from like 7-9:30 and caught a bunch of Bass that were in sizes teeny and tiny. My brother picked up his flyrod and caught like 20 2-7" Bass.
I caught 2 OK Bass on a frog coloured spook.
That's pretty much it.

Went to Mill Lake AGAIN! I just can't get enough of this evening Bass fishing. Tomorrow I'll go somewhere else.
Me and my bro caught a bundle of tiny Bass on 3-4 1/2" wacky rigged worms. I lost a 4lb+ Bass on the Motochug, which is some crazy topwater lure. Maybe 10 casts later I landed a Bass that was around 3lbs. Apparently it's a good lure.
A few days ago I was using a popper that I got at Reaction. I was fishing next to some guy who was very new to Bass fishing. After talking to him for awhile he decided to get some of those same lures and the next day I saw him there and he caught his first Bass which was at least 4lbs. Congrats to that guy!

Went to Mill Lake these last couple days and was using mostly texas rigged 3 1/4" Sweet Thangs with a 3/16 worm weight. I figured since they were on sale and BCBASSIN raves about them I should give them a try.
It has been a pretty slow bite because of the weather, and I have had a few short bites on those Sweet Thangs. My bro caught a couple small Bass on a spinner, as well as a couple 12" trout.
